Bebo for SAP®

Bebo for SAP® is a small utility to watch, navigate and control all SAP® sessions. It is formerly known as SAP® session control pad, now it call Bebo. Bebo is an acronym, a nickname, in long description it means Best Boy, the real name. A Best Boy is the first assistant of the lighting technician in movie production, he do all the technical work - like Bebo. With Bebo you see all sessions clearly arranged in a tree. Also you can direct execute a transaction or a script to the selected session. The available transaction codes and other possibilities are an easy and individual customizing in a preference file. So you can organize your favorite transaction codes, activities and scripts in a tree as you want - one time for all application servers.

  With a simple click in the session tree you can choose the session you want and it is direct on top of all the open windows. If you click the right mouse button, it opens a popup menu and you can close the session or the connection, or you can resize the session window or or or ... And with a simple double click in the transaction tree you send a transaction code or a script to the selected session. With the possibilities of the toolbar you can e.g. minimze all sessions with one single click, or restore it. Bebo helps you in the jungle of sessions and connections - it is a point of view.

The program is segmented with five tab strips. The first "Control" contains the session tree, collection list and transaction tree to control your SAP® sessions. The second "Notes" contains a small editor pad to store temporary informations of your work, e.g. order numbers, material numbers and IDs, to use it again via clipboard. The third "Tools" contains a collection of additional possibilities in relation to the program. The fourth "About" show informations about Bebo and last but not least the fifth, the help viewer, which shows the help file.

Imprtant hint: Bebo use SAP® GUI scripting engine. So it is necessary to enable SAP® GUI scripting on the application server. Use the transaction code RZ11 to activate the scripting.

Hint: If the SAP® GUI scripting is disable on one application server, you see his sessions in the collection list.
